This course is great for a lot of reasons.  As a courtesy heads up, this is NOT a good course if you are just starting out.  There is variety throughout the duration of play that challenges skilled players through all 24 holes, all listed as par 3's.  Many tee pads feature a good portion of distance, with looks that require power and touch shots for both hyzer and anhyzer throws.  There are a few holes that also require throwing up or down with big elevation and water threats to boot.  When these aren't present, most holes require very tight lines to be hit through very wooded terrain.  All in all, this is a great course to test your ability to hit technical lines with great cement tee pads and very nice baskets.  The best part about this park is that there are not a lot of players that frequent the course as it's pretty tough.  The course also features a camp ground right near the disc golf course, which in my experience, has led to some great glow rounds!

If you have played courses in the area like Stony Creek and River Bends, this is roughly an additional 15 -20 minutes further both north and west taking 32 mile road past Rochester road.  If you're a little bored of the open holes of Stony Creek and the beat in course of River Bends, I highly suggest getting out to play Addison Oaks.  I spent an entire summer playing this course as opposed to others in the area and my game greatly improved.  It requires a little tough love when you first hit the course if you're a beginner (when I tried it out, I probably finished 21 over par, but the next year, through practice, this course had me shooting 3 under with the hopes of improving upon that in the 2014 season)!

Likewise, if this course proves tough, but Stony Creek or River Bends aren't quite hard enough, check out Kensington Metro Park heading west on I-96.
