Course Description:
Fun course, lots of birdie opportunites! 18 holes, concrete tees, mostly short holes with tall trees creating a high canopy over the fairways and that coveted shade we all love in the Texas heat. Two holes with a little elevation, but all others are pretty flat. Although there are many trees, the trees are very tall without many low branches, giving most holes grassy moderately open fairways with those tall tree trunks creating many lines to choose from for drives and upshots. There's a winding creek that comes into play on a few holes, and when the water is high, it can be difficult to navigate the steep creek walls to just get to the edge of the water to try and get your disc, beware of hole 6, don't turnover your disc too much to the right! This course can get busy on nice days, and especially on Wednesday afternoons before and during the mini that takes place around 6pm, filled lots of old-school players enjoying the super slow leisure style play, taking 2-2.5 hours to play a course I finish in half that time when they aren't there Only one hole over 400 feet Only two b/t 300-400, leaving 15 holes under 300 feet!. You can get 8-12 birdies on this course as just a decent amateur. Pros regularly score 13-14 under.
