# of Holes: 18

Multiple Tees / Pins: No / No

Course Description:

I will start out by saying its one of the most beautiful courses in colorado. This 18 hole dgc sits at around 5,806 ft above sea level at its highest . The first 9 holes take you around,up, along the side, and back down the mesa. Holes 4-8 offer not only challenging fun throws but a beautiful view of the city and the sorrounding San Juan Mtn range. The first 9 holes are wide open with very few obstacles, just arm crunching distances and slopes. The back 9 are some of the best positioned holes in colorado. You will deal with heavily wooded fairways along with a few sharp doglegs. Holes 11 and 16 play water hazzards. All but hole 17 have cement tee boxes with sigsn that show you the path to the basket. Cons, not many. Baskets are hard to see at times , they have no flags so its best to find the basket before you throw. Lots of russian olive and cottonwood trees. During the summer season it is very hot so i recommend sun screen and lots of water. The town itself is great offering a wide variety of restaurants along with hotels and great campspots nearby. Overall its a great intermediate disc golf course. Has an even mix of long distance driving with very skillfull throws. 5 stars from me.

Baldridge Park
One of the nicest courses on the Western Slope. A great variety of holes played uphill, downhill, through trees, open space and across water. The only negative thing about this course is the difficulty a newcomer would have finding all the holes. Get a map or play with a local.
