Get your hands on one of Discraft's finest creations, the Meteor.  Now available in Elite-Z plastic, this understable mid-range driver will last a lifetime.  The Meteor is easy to throw even for beginners.  It is great for low-speed shots and turnover/anhyzer lines.  It was first released in ESP plastic but due to popularity has been run in the most popular Elite-Z line.

Elite-Z is Discraft's most durable.

Elite Z Meteor
The Meteor is an understable mid-range disc. It is not good in a headwind. The grip on a Meteor feels great and releases comfortably from the hand on backhand drives. The Meteor does a great job of flipping up and turning right on approach shots. This disc is great in tailwinds and for shaping upshots and will hold an anhyzer line even in a strong tailwind. I throw this disc for anything under 300 feet where I need to make sure the disc holds an anhyzer line all the way or most of the way to the basket. For windy conditions I opt for a Zone or a Flick instead. I throw the ESP version of the Meteor and feel that it is less stable out of the box than its Elite Z counterpart. The ESP also wears in more quickly so are sure to get the understable characteristics out of the disc that you would likely be looking for from this disc. Elite Z plastic feels great; very similar to champion plastic and slightly firmer than optoline and lucid plastic. Elite Z maintains it’s flight characteristics longer than any other plastic made by Discraft.
