Freestyle Explanation and Rules

What is Freestyle?
Simply put, Freestyle is the art of playing traditional throw and catch while adding your own personal stylings and flavors. The player has the freedom to catch behind the back, tip up a throw, pop a catch off their foot, deflect the disc to a friend, etc.

One of the most fun ways to enjoy flying sports, Freestyle can be played ANYWHERE-a park, a field, a beach, your street.

Freestyle has evolved into a competitive activity, governed by the Freestyle Player's Association. Teams of two or three players create choreographed routines that showcase their abilities to transform traditional throw and catch into an acrobatic, artistic, arsenal of tricks and moves designed to impress. Teams are judged on Difficulty, Artistic Impression, and Execution.
