Description
This course is built on a long narrow strip of land bordered by Riverside Drive (Rte 33) right along the Scioto River on the west. It is a fairly open course with many mature trees. The river is very much in play on a number of holes especially 8,17 & 18. The course usually gets a quick flash flood in the winter time. The course has some fairly long holes and a couple pins tucked into the woods (Holes 4 & 5). Tees are made of concrete with hole info post at each tee. Some of the info post claim that some holes are Par 4 due to the distances. Since this course is fairly close to the Ohio State Campus and can be seen from Riverside Dr, it is very well known and is quite busy in the summer.

Griggs
Pros: -Good Mix of Left, Right, & Straight holes. -Challenging. -Concrete tee pads & Wooded Basket areas. -Good use of trees, hills, & rocks as obstacles. -Elevated baskets Cons: -Missing hole #'s on baskets. -Some tee signs are just a small post with hand written info. -Holes run close together. -Random concrete & gravel areas. -No Course sign, easy to drive past. -The Course not well maintained. -Usually Very Crowded. -Overused course. -Drive way/Parking areas have quite a few pot holes.
