Lava Creek is a course for ball golfers and disc golfers alike. Each course is rather challenging for each, providing water traps, a creek, trees, boundaries, etc. For any Chicoan that wants to play some REAL disc golf, this is one of the only places to go. It is a pay-to-play type course (about $6) but it is worth it. You can go and play almost every day of the week until nine except for thursday, which is the ball golf "weekly." Disc golfers have a weekly as well which is every saturday. During a weekly they offer things like free discs and other competitions for free stuff. So, if you are in the area, check it out! |
