Description
Regarded as San Antonio's favorite DG spot, this course sits in unused land behind an elementary school. The course is challenging and requires lots of shots. Stay in the fairway and you'll be okay; stray and it might cost you more than a stroke to recover. From tunnels, to long bombs, to over water shots, McClain has it all. The San Antonio Disc Club host mini tournaments on Saturday morning at 9am and Wednesdays (during summer months) at 5:30 p.m. Caution : after rains the course will stay soggy for up to a week. (Also not a problem during the summer months).

Great course
I learned how to play on this course a few years back. Most of the holes are tightly wooded, so accuracy and placement are key. A few holes are nice breaks to air out your arm (hole 10 and hole 13). The rough is rough especially in hole 10, where a wild shot will cost you not only strokes but time looking for your disc. Also after it rains this course near impossible to play, as it's a muddy wet mess, for days after even. Overall, a great course in San Antonio.

Bryan McClain
Bryan McClain DGC is the top course in San Antonio. It will test every shot in your bag. It has a really nice flow and works well for tournaments. Pros: Concrete Tee Pads, DISCatcher baskets, amazing use of the trees without removing a lot of the "natural" feel of the woods. Hole 5! 'Nuff Said! Cons: When it rains, it stays..Horrible drainage! Vandals. Parks and Recs needs more trash bins. Thick rough (STAY OUT)!
