Picnic Bend

This neat little course has some awesome scenic spots and shots that are a lot harder than they first seem to be. Pros are the awesome shots including one off a cliff over the river. This course plays along the Concho River and through quite a bit of wooded area. Be careful on the first hole since you’ll be throwing blindly into the thick woods around the river. An over hand is probably your best bet and be sure to use a floater. One of the cons about this course is that it’s not in the nicest of areas, and even thought the park is well kept, there were a lot of empty alcohol containers and even some syringes and needles. The water is extremely murky, so throwing a disc in is almost a sure shot to loosing it. There is a well defined OB and some cool shots. This is a fun course that’s much more challenging that it appears.
