Course Description:

I consider Shelby Farms in Memphis, TN to be my home course. It is located on one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Shelby Farms is a very hilly course with a few holes that have water hazards. Wind is a huge factor when playing this course because discs can be affected by numerous crosswinds on drives. It recently played as a host to the Southern Nationals Pro and Amateur Championships along with a few other courses in the area. Visitors who come to Memphis to play disc golf view this as a premier course due to all the challenges it poses. Other features of this course include concrete tee pads, Innova DISCatcher baskets, and high quality signs that provide information such as basket locations and alternatives as well as directions to the next hole.
