What is Ultimate?

Ultimate is a fast-paced endurance game that combines the non-stop movement of soccer and the aerial passing skills of football! The game is played with two teams of seven players. Players advance across the field by passing a flying disc.

When holding the disc, players must remain stationary but may turn or pivot to pass to a teammate. Teams score when the disc is caught in their endzone. Game play rarely stops and turnovers happen FAST much like hockey or basketball. Dropped passes, out of bounds passes, and interceptions keep Ultimate exciting and entertaining to play or to watch. Bring some water, you're going to need it!

Competitive activities are governed by the Ultimate Player's Association. Ultimate is best enjoyed when the "spirit of the game" is the guiding force. For official rules and regulations of competitive Ultimate gameplay go to UPA.org.
