Uwharrie National Forest

The Uwharrie National Forest contains over 40,000 acres but they chose to construct a course on a postage stamp that is surrounded by a walking path and picnic tables. An area used by walkers picnickers fishermen etc. I have played the course 3 time and hit 2 picnic tables that were being used and 2 that were not. I was lucky that i missed the people The course has DISCatcher Pro baskets that do catch well. The rough is rough maintenance is minimal, tees consist of treated 4X4's and a square paver to mark the location, they are uneven and some have holes to trip you, at least it is a short course. Not worth the drive down the dirt road unless you just want to mark it as a course played.
